It took awhile, but I finally got a couple of new items listed in my etsy shoppe!
I just finished the stitching on this ~Fresh Eggs~. piece. I will be finishing it into a table mat or runner and will have it listed soon, too! The original pattern wasn't for a redwork stitchery, but as a painting, if I remember correctly, but since I'm not that talented, I chose to stitch it instead! This pattern by Darlene Luker was featured in a 2004 issue of Country Marketplace.
We finally got a break in the cold weather. It's still cold but I'll take 30 degrees over 0 anyday!!
Have a GREAT day! Stay warm!

I love this piece! I so miss Country Marketplace don't you? I have been looking for a pull-out pattern sheet from the April 2006 issue. I was going to make the little seasonal sheep . I wasn't going to make all 4.Just one and then 4 blankets to switch out for the seasons. I have searched everywhere and can't find what I did with it.Still have the magazine so I may just play around and try to improvise.
love your redwork chickies miss cindy!!!
can't wait to see it all finished up~
