I am in my first week of summer break and while I miss my little walking partner and helper, I will be glad to get to use most of my summer time stitching in one form or another. Yesterday, after finishing up an apron, I decided to delve into my stash of patterns. Most of them have been in my stash for a good while....in fact, I think some of them go back more than 10 years. Here's what I hope to be working on this summer..... You can see patterns and books from Sew Unique Creations, Barncat Primitives, Walnut Ridge Primitives, Notforgotten Farm, Mosey n Me, Netty LaCroix, Plum Pudding, Need'l Love, and a few others there....these designs/designers never fail.
I have even pulled out a few embroidery pieces....using the primitive style of stitching, of course. You'll see I have a small one already underway.
I have also been pondering the idea of having an open house here this fall. It's been alot of years since I've created on that level! A few pieces here and there to keep in a local shop is quite different than preparing for an open house event! Then throw in the whole idea of a new venture in little girlie things.....
I don't think I'll have a problem finding anything to do with my time....which by the way, it's time to get back to stitching!
Enjoy your day!
