Is it ~springtime~ yet?

This is out my front window yesterday.  We were to get 4"- 5" but who can tell?  With all the wind gusts and drifting, how can you get an accurate measure?!  I started for town yesterday just before 11:00....the snowplows still had not been down our blacktop road!  UGH!!! I made it a mile before I decided it just wasn't worth it and I turned around.  It threw off my whole day!  They finally made it down here with the snow plow around 1:30...but for what I had to do, it was too late so will be heading that way shortly.  It's snowing again this morning!   I know, this measly little 4"-5" isn't anything compared to what some of you get!  But  I've already had enough......I'm ready for spring or to start going south for the winters!
Hope you are having a great week....stay warm!!

I know what you mean Cindy! We were about to get the same amount here but with all that wind ,how's one to know? Isn't it so cold here? I think a good portion of our state got snow. They have called off school here in Spfd because there are so many children that have to walk to school and the temps are too cold to do so. DS is homeschooled so he doesn't have the day off. He's bumbed ,but that's the way it goes I guess.

I'm ready for spring too. I wasn't thrilled with the snow this morning either but at least most of the roads here are plowed now.

Stay Warm!

Most schools up around here were closed Thursday and Friday...Sharlotte, tell him it won't be such a bummer when he won't have to make up snow days at the end of the school year! haha
I made it into town today Jackie...There were a couple streets really iffy once I got in town but most of them clear. While I was gone, our neighbor bladed our drive!

Hey Cindy, Those redwork blocks work up much quicker than you might think. I'm working on #6 now. It's a pretty fast project and the nice thing is you can turn them into whatever you like. Some have suggested to me to use it as a table topper for Valentines' Day. Sounds cute but with that being really not that far off, I doubt it this year! Ha-ha. Alex's quilt is going to be really warm I can tell.I fell asleep under it with it on my lap last night while working on it. It's pretty compfy!
