I was called to work yesterday so it was late in the day before I got to the bread making. Yeah, I got a couple of small loaves of bread made...but I also HAD to make up a pan of cinnamon rolls too! Just what I needed right before going to bed!
I've replenished the starter so I'll be keeping this going for a little while.
Something will be going in the crock pot this morning before I head out to work...hmm...maybe a filling for grilled sandwiches? beef stew?
No big plans for the weekend....other than shutting myself in this sewing room and getting these jobs done! A load will be lifted if I could just get them done! Valances to finish, a pillowcase to make, pants to patch and pants to take up the waist in....then I can move on to finishing up some things to get listed in my etsy shoppe!
Have a GREAT weekend!!!

Hey Cindy! I have two words for you, slow down! LOL! I know what you mean though, always, ALWAYS, something to do. Those cinnamon rolls look good!! You have any snow yet? Just on the streets here so far.
LOL! Yep, always something! Nope, no snow here! I've got the tv on but not caught the forecast yet. Last I heard they weren't calling for any but that was yesterday morning maybe?
Chore time...have a GREAT day Sharlotte!!
Your cinnamon rolls look so yummy!! And the bread too! I need to get my bread machine out. Who doesn't love the smell of bread baking.
Tammy
YUM now I want a cinnamon roll!!
Would you be willing to share your cinnamon roll recipe? They look soooo good!! Thanks for the bread recipe, think I'll get the starter going today.
Those cinnamon rolls look good. You've definitely got me in the mood to start some sourdough...Hope you get all your projects done so you can relax.
Jackie
Tammy...get out that machine... Make some bread!
Denni...I'll be making more! If you talk really nice.....
Linda...I just used the bread recipe for the rolls. Other than that, I don't have a recipe....I just roll out the dough...smear it with softened butter, sprinkle on some cinnamon and brown sugar and chopped pecans...roll it up...slice and put in sprayed pan...let rise...bake! If I have canned frosting on hand, I might put some of that on while they are still fairly warm for the glaze. This particular batch, I just mixed up a little softened butter, powdered sugar, milk and tad bit of vanilla...poured it over rolls while hot! YUM!
Jackie...thanks! And me too!
So missy, why weren't these cinnamon rolls all whipped up and ready for Denni and Betsy and me when we were out at your place?
Slacker. ;)
