Cobbler.....

Mmm....I made this one with blueberries but you can use whatever fruit you'd like....I've made so many of these over the years but this time, I used the recipe from The Pioneer Woman's cookbook.  There's just a slight difference in the ingredients list.....
BLACKBERRY COBBLER
1 stick melted butter
1 1/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons sugar
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup milk
2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries (or blueberries, peaches, raspberries, etc...)
Preheat the oven to 350.  Butter a 3 quart baking dish.
Whisk together 1 cup of the sugar with flour and milk; whisk in the melted butter.
Rinse berries and pat dry.
Pour batter into baking dish.  Sprinkle berries evenly over the top of batter.
Sprinkle the 1/4 cup of sugar over berries.
Bake for an hour or until golden brown and bubbly.  When 10 minutes remain, sprinkle with remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar.
Serve it by the spoonful with ice cream or whipped cream....or both!

LAZY DAY COBBLER ( POORMAN COBBLER)
1 stick melted butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 can sliced peaches, drained(or fresh or frozen peaches, blueberries, blackberries, etc...)
Melt butter in baking pan.  Mix flour, sugar baking powder and milk.  Pour over butter.
Place peaches evenly over the top of batter.  Do not stir.
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Enjoy!
